Our Triples Gala on Sunday 14 July, was a real success. Twenty Four teams entered so all six rinks were in use over 2 sessions.

A fine lunch, provided by Annette, Pam & Lorna, was enjoyed by all, refreshments throughout the day were supplied by Pam & Joyce,  while Joyce also helped Dave run a fabulous raffle. Liz was helping here, there and everywhere during the day, and Jack was in charge of scoring. Jeannie, Jenny & Michelle were kept busy on the bar when not playing, resulting in an all round good team effort.

Thanks must go to Jack, Jeannie & Gordon for a lovely green to play on, Annette for being chief organiser as well as all those mentioned above, plus those that helped in any other way. 

The weather was fine throughout, unlike last year, and everybody seemed to have an enjoyable day.

The winners were the home team called 'The Young Ones', comprising of Liz Dyer, Jonny Abbott & Richard Lambert
